Vision and Mission

Vision
Communities drive climate adaptation alongside technical experts and policymakers. Together, we define what it means to be resilient and to “live with water” by transforming policies, practices, and places.

Mission
Foster leadership by building shared knowledge. Facilitate inclusive planning practices. Develop shared values and priorities to guide top-down and bottom-up actions.

Values

We believe that plans and processes that affect communities must be transparent, accessible, equitable, inclusive, and intentional.

We believe any work that impacts community must be grounded in community expertise, wisdom, capacity, and understanding of history.

We believe in shared responsibility. We can solve our water challenges together.

We believe in accountability to stakeholders, fellow participants, co-creators, and funders. We welcome adaptation, growth, and improving our process.
